Hunting
 |
If you come for the hunts, you will be hunting ringneck pheasants on 930
acres of crop and range land. It is approximately 24 miles northeast of
Bartlett. Plan to arrive in the afternoon or early evening to relax, look
around, or do some trap shooting. A home-cooked dinner will be served
that evening. The next morning about 7:30 a.m., a hearty breakfast will
be served before you leave on your morning hunt.
At noon you will eat lunch at the ranch house. At 1:00 p.m. it's back
to the fields for an afternoon of more hunting. At the end of your successful
day, depending on which package you choose, you will either pack up to
go home, or dinner will again be served with the evening yours to enjoy.
The ranch house is furnished with a TV, satellite
dish, and DVD player downstairs and a TV upstairs.
Our season runs from September 1 to March 31. Six pheasants are allowed
with the cost but any number can be had at an additional charge. A one
night stay described above is $400 and the two night hunt is $575.
We provide you with a guide and dog although you are welcome to bring
your hunting dog if you wish.
To confirm reservations, we require an advance non-refundable deposit
of $100 per person. Final payment is due at the close of the hunt.
Also enjoy hunting coyote and prairie chicken. Call or email us for details!
